When planning this shoot with Victoria and her boys, we wanted to integrate their lifestyle into it. So chickens and hair cuts, cowboy hats and her barefoot little boys is where we found the magic!

From the cool morning as the ladies got ready upstairs at the house, the guys up the road at a family cabin all the way to the reception dancing under the full moon and twinkling lights - everything was magical.

Trying to figure out what to wear can feel overwhelming. There is power in the colors and style of your outfit you choose to convey your story and who you are. Something to think of when choosing your oufit is aesthetic and does it work for the location. You want to paint a picture with each of your choices. Shoe choice, length of a dress are all a part of the story. Example of this is if you choose a winery for your shoot; a longer dress gives a more romantic and slow evening vibe - where as a shorter dress gives a flirty, fun, casual vibe.

We went from laughter to tears then back to laughter again. We ended their shoot in this dreamy romantic spring light. I was getting all the Pride and Prejudice meets Little Women vibes!

…I have this passion that ignites during these sessions. I want to capture each hug, kiss touch and feeling that happens in this season. I know and value how important these short seasons are. They are always worth capturing for mama’s to treasure…..

Dane and Esther’s wedding day I would describe as joy filled, bright, classy and soft. Dane and Esther leading up to their ceremony, were both so happy and excited, but yet calm. Both of them were fully present, ready to be married and to celebrate!

Hannah and Hollis planned for a moody and eclectic September wedding. The morning of their wedding, fog rolled in along with some scattered storms. I had to smile; this was definitely Hannah and Hollis’ wedding day.
